Aligning with Swire Properties’ Sustainable Development (SD) 2030 Strategy, the White Christmas Street Fair 2025 advanced its sustainability ambitions with a strong focus on carbon emission reduction and waste minimisation. Partnering with sustainable event solutions consultancy, the Fair installed eight electricity meters and adopted solar‑powered installations, enabling precise carbon‑footprint analysis and achieving a notable 30% carbon emissions reduction from 2024. The event embraced a “Colour the Season – LIGHTS OF HOPE” theme, integrating innovations such as reversible quartz sand 3D printing, curated social enterprises, while preserving cultural heritage in Hong Kong. Execution emphasised zero‑waste practices through reusable F&B systems, digital coupons, and upcycled decorations. Delivering meaningful community impact, the Fair attracted 40,000 visitors, diverted 96% of waste from landfill, avoided over 13,000 single‑use items, and generated HK$1.75 million for charitable causes.
