“A.S. Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards” (HKSSA) was established in 2005 as the first and only sports award to recognise student athletes from all primary, secondary and special schools across Hong Kong. HKSSA “You Are Star” campaign was launched to elevate the image of student athletes, turning them into sports star with professional studio sports photography opportunities. The campaign aimed to raise awareness of sporting culture in schools, ignite the passion of student athletes and encourage them to pursue for their dreams.

Overwhelming response from schools were received, and over 80% of all schools in Hong Kong participated in the campaign. In 2022, we sponsored scholarship valued at HK$500,000 to students. With over 14,500 students awarded since 2005, many became top athletes and HKSSA will continue to be the cradle of Hong Kong sports stars.
