In 2019 Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong made a forward-looking move and wanted to rejuvenate their brand to appeal to a younger audience leading modern lifestyles and falling in with a new creatively focused global mindset. With that in mind, the client desired to produce a most compelling event in Hong Kong.
The envisioned experience brand would present ‘the best new experiences for a next-level lifestyle’ within an experiential frame-work and lead up to a mega-festival that would run habitually every year. We called it “Mercedes-Benz BAM Festival. New. Next. Now.”
Over the weekend of 12th-13th October, at the Central Habourfront over 12,000 guests witnessed automotive, technological innovation, lifestyle, fashion, food and drink, urban living, sustainability, e-sports and entertainment intersect and saw Mercedes-Benz established as a thought-leader for progressive lifestyle choices that resonates with millennials.
The agency head joined in 2017 as Managing Director, she spearheaded the company’s focus on production and operations, and events for clients in IT, Auto, Hospitality, FMCG, Finance and Real Estate industries. Her knowledge of the industry has proved invaluable to her clients and staff alike. She is a plethora of knowledge and contacts that are the envy of many. Volkswagen’s goal for 2019 was to change the conversation and to amplify brand love by providing exclusive brand activities to existing and potential customers in Korea. With the launch of the new Arteon, Volkswagen set out for a new beginning with the slogan “Beauty in Every Sense”. We conceptualized a road tour of Arteon, bringing the car to people in various environments that stimulate positive emotions along with a series of surprising pop-ups, brand collaborations, and diverse activities.
We planned and executed the road tour with the driving experience in Jeju, Busan, Incheon and Gangwon in different seasons. We had Volkswagen collaborate with the Rainbow Music and Camping Festival, creating the “Arteon Mirror Garden” during the festival. Lastly, to resonate with target consumers who value art, we collaborated with the gallery Piknic in Seoul. The connection provided the perfect opportunity to emphasize the association between the brand and art.

EXCON organized by India’s premier industry association CII is the largest construction equipment exhibition in south Asia. Held in Bangalore every 2 years it is the most important industry showcase attended by marque brands ranging from equipment manufacturers to spare parts manufacturers. With over one thousand five hundred exhibitors from both domestic and international markets and over 80,000 business visitors and thousands of enthusiasts visiting the 5 day exhibition, JCB the largest exhibitor at EXCON with an exhibition space measuring nearly 4800 square meter tasked us with creating an experience that stood out in terms of design, display and technology.
